FEES & CHARGES
Exclusive use of Merchistoun Hall 8am- Midnight £300
Refundable deposit in case of damage £75
Non-refundable deposit £150 (required at the time of signing the Hiring Agreement)
Membership charge £3.40
Please note : Merchistoun Hall is managed by Horndean Community Association a registered charity no 301854. Hirers are required to pay a one off membership fee for use of the venue.
Use of Kitchen
Only our recommended caterers RKDIA and Linda’s Pantry are permitted to cook in the kitchen, otherwise we can offer a 1x5’ counter for final garnishing. All food brought in must be cleared and removed at the end of the evening.
Health & Safety
All entertainers must provide Horndean Community Association with a copy of their current public liability insurance certificate. This is to ensure we comply with our Insurers requirements.
We must also see the Portable Appliance Test (PAT) paperwork for anything to be plugged into our electrical supply.
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building. A designated smoking area is located to the side of the building.
Hiring Agreement
All Hirers are required to sign both a Hiring Agreement and a Standard Conditions of hire document, a copy of which is enclosed.
A copy of our General Rules for the use of Merchistoun Hall is enclosed for your information.
